NEW YORK (Reuters) - Deal or no deal? An online exchange between a woman looking for a husband who earns more than $500,000 a year and a mystery Wall Street banker, who assessed her potential for romance as a business deal, has cause quite an Internet stir.
The anonymous 25-year-old woman recently posted an ad on the free online New York community Web site Craigslist, http://newyork.craigslist.org/, appealing for advice on how to find a wealthy husband.
"I know how that sounds, but keep in mind that a million a year is middle class in New York City, so I don't think I'm overreaching at all," the woman, who described herself as "spectacularly beautiful" and "superficial," wrote.
"I dated a business man who makes average around 200 - 250. But that's where I seem to hit a roadblock. $250,000 won't get me to Central Park West," she said, asking questions like "where do rich single men hang out?"
The mystery banker, who said he fit the bill, offered the woman an analysis of her predicament, describing it as "plain and simple a crappy business deal."
"Your looks will fade and my money will likely continue into perpetuity ... in fact, it is very likely that my income increases but it is an absolute certainty that you won't be getting any more beautiful!" the banker wrote.
"So, in economic terms you are a depreciating asset and I am an earning asset," he said. "Let me explain, you're 25 now and will likely stay pretty hot for the next 5 years, but less so each year. Then the fade begins in earnest. By 35 stick a fork in you!"
"It doesn't make good business sense to "buy you" (which is what you're asking) so I'd rather lease," he said.
While the woman has since removed the ad from Craigslist, it -- along with the response -- has become a popular email joke that, bank JPMorgan Chase says, led to one of its bankers mistakenly being credited with writing the response.
Brian Marchiony, spokesman for JPMorgan Chase, said the banker did not write the response and that his email signature accidentally became attached to the ad and response when he forwarded it to friends and it then wound up on blogs.
Craigslist was not immediately available for comment, but a spokeswoman told The New York Times that "it does look as if the post was made sincerely."

God Lawsuit Gets Answers
God Lawsuit Gets Answers
By NATE JENKINS, AP
A legislator who filed a lawsuit against God has gotten something he might not have expected: a response.
One of two court filings from "God" came Wednesday under otherworldly circumstances, according to John Friend, clerk of the Douglas County District Court in Omaha.
"This one miraculously appeared on the counter. It just all of a sudden was here - poof!" Friend said.
State Sen. Ernie Chambers of Omaha sued God last week, seeking a permanent injunction against the Almighty for making terroristic threats, inspiring fear and causing "widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth's inhabitants."
Chambers, a self-proclaimed agnostic who often criticizes Christians, said his filing was triggered by a federal lawsuit he considers frivolous. He said he's trying to makes the point that anybody can sue anybody.
Not so, says "God." His response argues that the defendant is immune from some earthly laws and the court lacks jurisdiction.
It adds that blaming God for human oppression and suffering misses an important point.
"I created man and woman with free will and next to the promise of immortal life, free will is my greatest gift to you," according to the response, as read by Friend.
There was no contact information on the filing, although St. Michael the Archangel is listed as a witness, Friend said.
A second response from "God" disputing Chambers' allegations lists a phone number for a Corpus Christi law office. A message left for that office was not immediately returned Thursday.
Attempts to reach Chambers by phone and at his Capitol office Thursday were unsuccessful.

Tired
I am tired and fed up with the BS that men give to me about relationships. Either they dont know what they want, only want sex, or they want to hold on to their youth and want to play the field. To hell with that!
I am not one of your concubines. I refuse to be labeled as a 'friend with benefits' just because it suits you.
Guys ask me what I want. I tell them honestly that I am looking for a long-term relationship. I am looking for a real man that knows what he want out of life. A man that knows that he has a good thing on his arm. A man that can communicate with me on all different levels, not just on one. A man that can say 'I want you', and mean it.
In short, if you don't know what you want, then don't come and talk to me!

Nebraska state senator sues God
By NATE JENKINS, Associated Press Writer
1 hour, 11 minutes ago
LINCOLN, Neb. - The defendant in a state senator's lawsuit is accused of causing untold death and horror and threatening to cause more still. He can be sued in Douglas County, the legislator claims, because He's everywhere.
State Sen. Ernie Chambers sued God last week. Angered by another lawsuit he considers frivolous, Chambers says he's trying to make the point that anybody can file a lawsuit against anybody.
Chambers says in his lawsuit that God has made terroristic threats against the senator and his constituents, inspired fear and caused "widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth's inhabitants."
The Omaha senator, who skips morning prayers during the legislative session and often criticizes Christians, also says God has caused "fearsome floods ... horrendous hurricanes, terrifying tornadoes."
He's seeking a permanent injunction against the Almighty.
Chambers said the lawsuit was triggered by a federal suit filed against a judge who recently barred words such as "rape" and "victim" from a sexual assault trial.
The accuser in the criminal case, Tory Bowen, sued Lancaster District Judge Jeffre Cheuvront, claiming that he violated her free speech rights.
Chambers said Bowen's lawsuit is inappropriate because the Nebraska Supreme Court has already considered the case and federal courts follow the decisions of state supreme courts on state matters.
"This lawsuit having been filed and being of such questionable merit creates a circumstance where my lawsuit is appropriately filed," Chambers said. "People might call it frivolous but if they read it they'll see there are very serious issues I have raised."
U.S. District Judge Richard Kopf, in an order last week, expressed doubts about whether Bowen's lawsuit "has any legal basis whatsoever" and said sanctions may be imposed against Bowen and her attorneys if they fail to show cause for the lawsuit.
The Associated Press usually does not identify accusers in sex-assault cases, but Bowen has allowed her name to be used publicly because of the issue over the judge's language restrictions.
Cheuvront declared a mistrial in the sexual assault trial in July, saying pretrial publicity made it impossible to gather enough impartial jurors.

- Trying to finish up a story/screenplayto turn into a movie for Karmul Online Entertainment (hellll noooo I won't be starring in it, so don't even ask!)
- Owner of Thunda Graphics, my web design, graphics, and photography company
- Finishing up the 'dating contract' for all of my applicants to fill out (LOL)
- still bitchin' about the men that don't know how to approach a woman (well not necessarily bitchin', but I still have to bring it to light)

Dating Contract

Well I just finished reading a book called "Love on the Dotted Line". In the book, a woman creates a dating contract for any potential mate to sign. The thought put the mouse on the wheel and started running. What if there is an actual contract that you can give to a guy (or a girl) dictating the rules of the relationship all the way down to what kind of sex that you can get and receive.
So I searched the world of Google and yes, there is a dating contract available for people to use! I looked over it and it was very vanilla.. very vague. So I am going to put my collective thoughts together and create a dating contract that everyone can use, and even tweak it to conform their situation.
I'll post the link to it once it is created. Give me the weekend to get a 'lil creative.

Scientist Who Tested Hubby's Undies Fired
Scientist Who Tested Hubby's Undies Fired
Woman Wanted To Know If Husband Was Cheating
POSTED: 3:00 pm EDT August 22, 2007
LANSING, Mich. -- A state forensics scientist who said she tested her husband's underwear for DNA to determine whether he was cheating on her has been fired.
Ann Chamberlain testified in a March 7 divorce hearing that she ran the test last September on the underwear of Charles Gordon Jr. Asked by his attorney what she found, she answered: "Another female. It wasn't me."
She said during another hearing that she ran the test on her own time with expired chemicals that were set to be thrown away.
The Michigan State Police, which oversees the Lansing forensics laboratory where Chamberlain worked, announced Tuesday that it had fired her effective Aug. 16 after conducting an internal investigation into violations of department administrative policy.
State police policies dealing with the care and use of property state that "department supplies, materials or equipment shall not be used for any non-duty or non-department purpose."
Chamberlain, 33, on Tuesday declined to comment immediately to The Associated Press.
An attorney for Gordon, Michael Maddaloni, said his client -- who court records show was a defensive back with the Canadian Football League from the early 1990s through 1997 -- disputed his wife's testimony that he acknowledged a sexual encounter with another woman after she found the female DNA on his underwear.
Chamberlain worked for the state police as a forensic scientist since 1999 and was interim supervisor of the biology unit in 2005, according to information posted on the Web site of Williamston-based Forensic Science Consultants Inc., where she began doing laboratory analysis last year.
She received an award for Outstanding Contribution to the Michigan State Police Biological Services in 2006 for her research and method development in embryonic/fetal DNA recovery, according to the Web site.
